My First year of Photography

Well, this is my first journal...mostly because im fairly certain that no one will be reading this. It has been 11 months exactly since I really started photography, and 11 months exactly since i got my first camera...I hope ive made some progress.

Gear over a year ago:
Random small digital cameras borrowed from friends on hikes taking snapshots as well as my own small sony cybershot. I didnt have a clue how to work a camera...or how a camera worked for that matter, now I would say my knowledge of the physics of photography have vastly improved.

Current Gear:
Canon EOS 40D
Canon 28-135mm IS USM
Canon 100-300mm USM
Sigma 10-20mm DC HSM
Canon 580EX
Canon 480EX II
Vivitar 285
some CPL filters
...for the gear i got now, my work certainly doesn't do it justice...damn

Still looking to learn anything i can ... or just for people to see some of my stuff, however i am proud of the fact that all my gear has already paid itself off by shooting weddings and portraits.
